Current Issues in Biology

This year's topic was the science of Jurassic Park by Robert DeSalle and David Lindley. Examining the novels Jurassic Park and Lost World, many assumptions were made about the biology and our technological capabilities in recreating our evolutionary past. DUring the three week course, nine individuals grappled the challenges posed by the differences between science fiction and science fact.
